A single AIR license can now be used with AIR, BakeAIR, and TweakAIR. A separate license for TweakAIR or BakeAIR is no longer required.
Obtaining a Registration Id for Online Ordering
In order to issue a license we need a registration id for your computer or server. The procedure for obtaining the registration id depends on your system and order:
Windows Vista or multiple licenses
1. Install the AIR demo if you have not already done so. 2. Open a command shell or MS-DOS prompt. 3. Type the following command and press ENTER:
rlmutil rlmhostid ether
Use the number printed by the above command prefixed with the letters RLM as the machine id in the online order form.
Single licenses for Linux or Windows XP
1. Install the AIR demo if you have not already done so. 2. Windows users can simply select Register AIR from the AIR menu in the Start menu. 3. Otherwise, open a command shell or MS-DOS prompt. 4. Type the following command and press ENTER:
registair
Use the number that appears as the machine id in the online order form.
Our products are distributed over the Internet. After ordering, you will receive an e-mail with license and download information.
Each AIR license allows up to 4 rendering threads in a single rendering process. In other words, if you have a machine with 4 cores, one AIR license will allow you to utilize all 4 cores. An 8-core machine requires 2 AIR licenses.
A separate license is required for each machine. The AIR distribution includes a floating-license manager at no additional charge. Users who wish to use a license occasionally on a laptop can contact sales@sitexgraphics.com for information on obtaining a companion laptop license.
License purchase includes technical support and free updates for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. Support renewal contracts are available as an annual subscription (currently $150 per year for a single license). Volume discounts apply to multiple license renewal.
